Am i weird for thinking this?

Some people seem like pushovers in my opinion. Even though i don't want to/try to control them, the fact they seem so overly appeasing for no reason towards me makes me feel like a tyrant and it's an uncomfortable feeling). But other people, i feel like a people-pelasing 'can't say no' weakling in front of them.

I think it depends on the personality. For example, Christians strive to apply Ephesians 5:22,23 in their lives: "On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law." Factors That Contribute to Happiness Love moves others to love you in return. Joy gives you the strength to cope with challenges. Peace helps you to keep your relationships free of strife. Long-suffering enables you to stay happy even when you are under trial. Kindness draws others to you. Goodness on your part makes others respond when you need help. Faith will assure you of God’s loving direction. Mildness will bring you calmness of heart, mind, and body. Self-control means that your mistakes will be fewer.

No it just depends on the personality of the person your in the company of,and if you know you can get your own way with a person,as selfish as it sounds, you will use that to your advantage, even subconsciously, and if someone you believe has more power than you is present, then you will automatically become a people pleaser, just the way we are made I guess.
