Negative urine test but positive blood test?

I’m currently two weeks (15 days )late for my period. I’ve taken what feels like a thousand pregnancy tests all negative. Today I went to the doctor and took another Urine test it was negative. I got blood drawn and now I’m awaiting results. Has anyone gotten a negative urine tests and then later get positive pregnancy tests?? Thanks... also why would this happen, and can it happen thanks

I imagine someone in the world has had that happen, yes. It would happen if the amount of hCg is too low for a urine test to detect. It would also happen if you ovulated late so therefore conceived later than you think.
