Are Antono'v products the Pintos and Yugo's of the sky? I'm asking, sincerely because I've never been in one but heard pilots say that. Is?

Personally, I like the An-70 if I were to have a private plane. It's extremely roomy, not at all slow and reportedly very efficient.
Any firsthand knowledge of this craft?

Mostly I think of the company as producer of very large aircraft. Pintos and Yugo's are small cars so I don't see the analogy. Maybe their smaller aircraft might be like the Chevy Suburbans of the sky. Their biggest one's might be like Kenworth's of the sky.
