Do math and science prove useful?

An ability to think logically is extremely useful in life. Maths is one of the subjects that are basic requirements for entry into further and higher education, so in that sense it is very useful you want to progress, even if you never need to do differentiation again.

In a job interview, NOBODY will ever ask you for your opinions on (nor knowledge of) Shakespeare, Dickens, the capital of Uganda, etc. Some mathematics is necessary for almost any job. Science is necessary for any jobs requiring engineering/technology skills, health care, businesses that sell somewhat complicated products and services, or general public policy issues.
