I dont want to be lesbian?

Ok...um im a stud, or an "AG" and im a freshman in highschool. The thing is, I have a gf but she's in 8th grade but I dont really see myself with a female my whole life...probably because "man and woman" is the norm but I dont really see myself with a man either. Im attracted to my gf so I atleast know im lesbian but im worried about things like prom. My family is religious and homophobic and I know they'll expect my prom pic to be me all dolled up in a dress on some dudes arm. Idk what to do. I dont want to lose my family just because I cant suck it up and be with a guy, and I dont want to dissapoint my family either. Homophobia is bad but these people have stuck by my side and i dont want to lose or dissapoint them. Any advice?

Mmmmmm

I never wanted to be a lesbian and sometimes I still don't. When I was really insecure about it I used a beard (guy to act as my bf) so I could feel safer. I'd suggest finding a close male friend to be your beard and then staying with your girlfriend.

Being LGBT is a congenital condition. (developed before birth) Science is finding more evidence for it, every day.

"Homophobia" is not bad. You are bad. Your perverted lusts are bad. Your perverted acts are bad. Don't you dare try to act like your parents and family are bad because of your immoral behavior. Yes, here's advice that you should heed to. Believe on God. Do not reject him just because your flesh wishes to drag you into a dark decrepit perversion that will ultimately end in your destruction. You are a female. You are literally designed for your opposite sex, like a puzzle. You CAN learn to do well and, thus, learn to love good. Isaiah 1:17, "Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow." Your true self is with the one you are literally made for, by Jesus Christ himself who made everything INCLUDING YOU. Yes, Jesus sat down, figuratively speaking, and took the time to make YOU. Do what is pleasing to him, and he will take your hand and lead down the right path. There's a reason he is called the door, now walk through it, John 10:9, "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." And there is a reason he is called the truth and the way and the LIFE, John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The man-woman norm is becoming less and less rigid. Seeing yourself in a relationship depends on meeting someone you could be in a relationship with, not just "a boy" or "a girl." Be yourself. The other path rarely if ever leads to happiness and fulfillnent.
