Should I talk to my manager?

My coworker says very inappropriate things all the time. She has no filter, she just says whatever is on her mind even though it's offensive. I'm middle eastern and a non practicing Muslim. This coworker will say things like these Muslims are ridiculous, coming to America and acting like they own this country, they all need to get out and go back to where they came from. And she'll be on her phone reading articles about Islam and then she'll say see look, everyday there's something bad these Muslims are doing, I can't stand them. I don't think she knows I'm muslim or middle eastern because of my name (I got married and my first name is very common in all religions and my husband is white so I took his last name) and I also have pale skin and dyed my hair lighter so she thought this whole time I was italian or something lol. When I told her I am middle eastern and Muslim she didn't even feel bad about anything she said, she was just like okay. But she continues to keep saying offensive things and i even told her she shouldn't be mentioning this stuff in the workplace but she doesn't care. I don't want to get her in trouble because she's very nice to me but at the same time I'm annoyed by all her comments. Should I speak to a manager?

Yes, talk to your manager as this is unacceptable. No, your skin tone and hair color don't matter to this situation.

Talk to your manager. Hey but be careful. If your manager is racist he will not understand and he could make you look like you are the problem. This girl is racist. The people answering here that do not understand you are racist. Be careful. Racists hate. Good luck.

You are not muslim and why did you get offended? of course, americans hate middle eastern because so many killed during the 9/11. It is just "normal" to express the opinions. If you dont like this particular coworker, why do you still talk to her? stay away...... if she is over the line, like being offensive specifically to you like calling names, maybe you should talk to your superior (HRD manager perhaps).

ONLY IF YOU WANT TO GET FIRED. WHY ARE YOU HIDING THAT YOU ARE MUSLIM BY DYING YOUR HAIR

Dear Snowflake, Wake up and smell the coffee. Other people OFTEN have opinions that are not the same as yours. Unless you want to get fired, you need to learn how to be an adult and just ignore the comments. I'm SURE you have NO prejudices of ANY sort.
