Why am I curious about Jesus suddenly?

I just have so many questions about him.

WE were made with a desire to worship God or are creator. The one who made this planet habitable is amazing to us and we do desire as we get older to know more about him. A very good book you can down load is "The greatest man " book off this web site. Puts all the stories together and makes it understandable. www.jw.org

Curiosity? Intelligent people tend to want to learn about everything. It’s the average and below average who believe that somehow hearing about something they disagree with will magically convert them. Fearing knowing anything about any religion or stance is about as ignorant as believing learning math will convert them into a mathematician or learning history will doom them to a life working in a museum. I’m Christian and I like the theories on evolution. It’s quite fascinating. I also find other religions fascinating. Amazing I haven’t been converted into a chakra cleansing crystal..🤷🏼‍♀️

Holy Spirit has drawn you by the sounds of it. Praise be to the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Jesus Himself declared that 'No one can comes to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws them to Me.

Great, ask away. Then put the answers to the test.

Then read of Him in the Bible since that is the only way any can know anything about Him.

There's a reason Jesus is more well known than any single other great teacher or wise one. More widely known of than other very good teachers like Plato or Lao Tzu or Emerson. If you read broadly in many of the wisdom traditions you begin to notice what they agree on, being able to read past their unique ways of wording to get the essential idea/tenet. If one does (as I did) then Jesus becomes more and more fascinating, because He's got every one of those intersections inside His words, but also says somethings that go further, to great import. And you can *test* those things He said, try them, to find out their outcomes. And then it gets truly amazing.

Have to seen any of the thousands of Proofs confirming Jesus? Confirming that GOD sent Jesus to us! Pray to GOD and GOD only, Ask questions to GOD about Jesus. Of course you can read the Bible! The NIV and NLT Bibles are very good translations!

Are you wondering if he was sodomized?

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death..

If you're genuinely curious about Jesus, the website below has a publication that's all about Jesus from birth to death, an account of the life and ministry of Jesus that reveals what he was like, what he taught and did, and how you can benefit.

Acetek

well there is no evidence historically that he even existed. what more do you need to know

The bible is what is called "Faction” A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not! There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded! There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death! He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record? Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death! Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter! At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed! Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead? Christianity is an invention of the Italians and that is why it came from the Holy ROMAN Catholic church! Please realize that those claims for the Old historians are worthless since they were not even born until long after everyone in the stories would have been so long dead! Josephus AD 37 – AD 100 Tacitus AD 56 – AD 120 Suetonius - 69 – 130 AD Pliny the Younger, 61 AD – 112 AD Justin Martyr (Saint Justin) AD103–165 AD Lucian - AD 120 -180 AD but he was hostile to Christianity and openly mocked it. Pamphilius AD 240-309 AD Eusebius AD 263 – 339 AD Photius AD 877 – 886 AD Thallus - But there are no actual record of him except a fragment of writing which mentions the sack of Troy [109 BC] Showing that he was clearly not alive in biblical times. Some even try to use Seneca. 4 BCE – 65 CE but as a Stoic Philosopher he opposed religion yet made not a single mention of a Jesus or Christianity! Even funnier is trying to claim Celsus AD ? – 177 AD Who said that Jesus was a Jew who’se mother was a poor Jewish girl whose husband, who was a carpenter, drove her away because of her adultery with a Roman soldier named Panthera. She gave birth to an illegitimate child named Jesus. In Egypt, Jesus became learned in sorcery and upon his return presented himself as a god. Research shows whilst education reduces religious belief each year of further education reduces religious belief by up to 10%!
