Are these skis ok to use as a beginner?

I am looking for some skis for a 5 ft 7 in athletic male, 150lbs. He has not skied before. I found some atomic smoke TI 150s for a good price. I know they are intermediate-advanced level, but would they be ok for him or should I definitely get beginner skis?

You’ll be perfectly fine using those as a beginner. They’re on the shorter side for your height which will help you control them easier.
