Yes. There are chat groups, but you have to sign up with each one. They are called neo Groups. Yahoo set up and activated them in 2013. Someone is misinforming and misleading you intentionally. YA us NOT a chat forum. Many people insist on misusing YA AS a chat forum. Verizon wants your business. If you pay for email account, YOU become a PAYING Verizon customer. That is WHY Verizon/Oath bought and merged with Yahoo.
