I have a 2004 pioneer tv that I use to play on my PlayStation but it has the wrong aspect ratio?

I know how to change the ratio, the only problem is that the tv wants me to disable the hdmi, I’m just wondering if there’s a work around or something I’m missing?

Don't do anything that isn't necessary. However, you Should do what Is necessary, and if that includes disabling the HDMI input, so be it.
