Which do you like better, the miserably sunny blue waters of the Pacific, or the cloudy greyish seagreen waters of the Atlantic?

For me it's "which do you like better? The icy cold waters off San Diego and LA? Or the incredibly warm currents of the gulf stream, from Miami to Ocracoke?" I love warm water, but I'll swim anywhere. Honestly, what scares the bejesus out of me is knowing a shark could be 3 feet away and I'd never know until half my leg was gone.

I can't swim but I love looking at water. My apartment faces the water, Lake Erie, which is seldom blue but often cloudy grayish.

Oh I dunno ... the Atlantic can be pretty blue too on a sunny day ...

I will stick with the waters of the S Pacific. They are not always blue.

That depends on what you want. Blue waters are relatively sterile. The "cloudy greyish seagreen waters of the Atlantic" are that way because they are fertile and provide better fishing.
