I cut my self and the spot where I did it is stinging, is it infected?

More than likely you have either gotten salt or something acidic, like tomato juice on it.

Did you just do it? It takes some time to become infected, bacteria have to grow. Of you just did it it stings because its fresh.

No not infected just stings because you cut it. Rub salt in it. That's what my old mate use to do to "stop infection"

Probably not. Cuts sting. It could be though. Can't tell from the information provided. The cut might just sting or it could be infected. Usually it'll look really nasty if it's infected.
