Why do girls bleed after taking plan b?

Plan b is not an abortion pill in any way, shape or form. Please do not fall victim to that rubbish. If taken in the proper time frame (72 hours) it does prevent sperm from meeting with the egg. It cannot intervene with or cause an already forming fetus to be expelled. The bleeding comes from what would have been the woman's natural period. If conception was already taking place, it would have occurred way before this recent unprotected incident.

Because it causes an artificial period. Besides the normal materials of a period, it includes what little products of conception that may exist. Blood is normal.

It is ripping out the lining inside you where sperm and egg could be starting to become fertilized. It's an abortion pill.
