How can I reveal my Tarantula to my Mom without her killing it?

I bought a tarantula online, and my mom hates them. I've hid it in my room for a few weeks, but it's time to (Literally) let it out of thee closet. P.S. She keeps a can of raid near her AT ALL TIMES
