Can snakes stop shedding?

My ball python hasn't shed in a few months now. Do they stop shedding when they're fully grown or do they continue to shed? He's a 2 1/2 ft male of 2 years now.

Snakes shed far more as juveniles than they do as adults. The average adult snake sheds roughly twice a year, depending on the species and its health.

They still shed, but not as quickly as when they were younger. Make sure they're eating appropriately sized meals (10-15% of their body weight in grams until over 500 grams, then one small rat weekly for life. Rarely, extra large females will need a medium rat, but they have to be well over 2000 grams before then.)
