Ava or Avery?

I think Ava is a beautiful name. I like Avery for either a boy or a girl. But if you are asking for a girl, I'd prepare yourself, for your daughter to be assumed as a boy, if the name is being read by anyone for the first time. I only say this because most people associate Avery as a boy's name over a girls. But I do still like it for a girl, if you're okay with the assumption.
