Question for Flat-Earthers: ...?

If the South Pole extends extends entirely around the edge of the Flat-Earth disk, how can the South Pole possibly be entirely illuminated for 6 straight months while the rest of the Flat-Earth disk still experiences night and day during a 24-hour period?
