What type of bug is this?
I found it on a dress shirt I haven’t worn in months. It appears dead. There is no evidence of any others in the home.

That appears to be a carpet beetle larva. Your specimen is especially well-fed. You should vacuum your place, removing as much detritus as possible. These insects are harmless to humans, but hey, they're ugly, and if your girlfriend finds them at your place you'll be spending a night alone with your vacuum cleaner.
