Would you be inclined to believe a chambermaid who testifies that Prince Philip follows her about trying to grope and snog her?

Nope.

It sounds very unlikely. I would want to see some evidence. I mean, there must be a lot of people around in the royal palaces - wouldn't other people observe this going on? There would have to be reliable witnesses. However, if she finds the situation distressing you would think she would have left by now.

Sounds like made up rubbish.

No. In this day and age that's sexual harrassment and there are ways to STOP that.

Yes. He grew up in an era in which men pretty much thought they could get away with that sort of thing with impunity. And he's now 97. He doesn't appear to be suffering from obvious dementia, but elderly men, even some who behaved with perfect probity earlier in their lives, have been known to behave inappropriately, sexually speaking.

It is possible that she is telling the truth. Philip is from an earlier era where men did such things without impunity. But,it is also possible that the person is lying---sometimes people lie. The chambermaid works with others and may have witnesses. She should speak out to her supervisors and they should help her if this really is happening.

I would believe every word she says. Its a good job Phil is slower than a sloth.

I would make sure the complaint was fully investigated

Yes, I hope the poor lady concerned gets therapy as soon as possible. Its hardly fair to pick on the staff, If she clouted him one she would get prosecuted. He is taking advantage of his position, and he always has.

I wouldn't believe anything a troll says.
