I think it's unusual for anyone who has learned about flying and how safe it is to still be afraid of flying.

It's weird to be afraid of flying because it's so safe and there hasn't been fatal accidents in years. However, to be fascinated by aviation is not weird.

If you play flight simulator like me, you should be scared. I crash those planes all the time

No. I enjoy watching birds, live or in shows, but I have no desire to own or touch one.
