Positive Amp power wire burning at terminal? I have a amp built into a subwoofer box. The power wire keeps brurning and melting the terminal?
Either the wire can't handle the current the amp draws because it's too thin, or the amp is shorted to ground. I hope you allow cooling air to circulate around the amp. If it's outside the box, maybe. If it's inside the box, that cabinet becomes a heater. Check the impedance of the speakers that it is not less than the stability of the amp, allowing it to draw more current than it can handle- if the amp has no thermal protection. Something about the installation is very messed up.
The power wire is not handling the load. What gauge wire you using? If it's 10 gauge try 8 gauge.
