New York State or New York City?. I've already been to New York state, twice, but it was decades ago. U have never been to New York City. New York City. I would need to get a passport and a visa for Tokyo.

Tokyo. But I live in the US and have been to NYC many times. So it depends where you are from. Tokyo is fascinating- lots to see and do, and the food is great.
