My 1977 mustang 2 broke it's chain and sprocket? What's needed for repairs?
When you say something in a different way, people think your a troll. The 302 v8 had timing gears, or sprockets and a chain. And I'm surprised that a sshole user named Dan didn't chime in... He's the ultimate troll of this section.

A new chain, a new set of sprockets (they usually come as a pair) and you may need a gear-puller to get the old ones off their shafts. A set of screwdrivers and socket spanners is always useful.
