Can a temporary breakup in the family and bullying as a kid stunt my emotional development?

I feel stunted at about 11 or 12 and that was around the time of the worst of the traumas from peer abuse and me being used by my Mom in a family dispute. I was ages 9 to 13 during most of this.

It is possible for events like these to harm or otherwise disrupt a person's emotional development, especially during adolescence and early teenage years. The best advice I can give you is to seek counseling or guidance to help overcome these issues.

Yes. This sounds like something you should be exploring with a therapist.
