No. My mother made the choice to legally raise me instead of sharing the chore witb my father, who is a mentally, physically, and sexaul abuser. I am so proud of my mother for making such an important and difficult choice to benefit her children.

The term "single parent" can also include a parent who is widowed or divorced. Do you think such a parent is "dumb", or that they ever intended or preferred to be a "single parent"?

Although I strongly disagree with one person bringing up a child/children I would never say they were dumb for doing it. My strong opinion is, children should always be brought up by two people, one man one woman.
