Is the constructor a method on the AP test?

AP Computer Science (using Java) ... right? A Java constructor is not a method. It's a constructor. It's somewhat like an instance method, but you can't call it directly. Only Java's "new" operator can do that. Your code can provide arguments to pass to the constructor in a "new" expression, but it's the new operator that does the constructor call. If the AP/CS curriculum says it's a method (I hope not) then you'll have to memorize that for the test, I guess. If so, plan to forget it immediately afterward.
