How much does it cost to build a 800sqf house? Don't include the land, as I got one already.?

depending on what you build it out of and how expensive your tastes are probably anywhere from 100-300 dollars a square foot.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as the location. You can use an average cost of about $175 per sq foot

In Northern Idaho the price for materials for the basic construction could be as low as $40 per sf for the building $20 per sf for labor, so you could spend as little as $50k. In tighter labor markets realistically you can easily spend $150-200 per sf. A big swing in price could be your water, it could cost $10k to connect water and sewer to utilities, or $10 to $20k each for a well and septic.

rough guess is $70 [US] per square foot [ie about $56k] ... however if you live in a high labor cost area the price will be higher. This does NOT include government permits and fees, nor the architectural plans -- just the actual cost of building. Add another five to fifteen thousand for those other costs

It would be hopeless to generalize. I know of some homes no larger that 800 sf that would cost as much as a four-bedroom home, garage, and barn on a 20-acre ranch, but built in some other location. In fact, even the world's most expensive parking spaces are now approaching US$1 million.
