My 3 year old scribbles out the eyes in his coloring books, what does that mean?

My 3 year old scribbles out the eyes in his coloring books, what does that mean? He also scribbles for scribbling...but in his dinosaur books and in catalogs he scribbles out the childrens eyes....can anyone tell me what the meaning of this is? (please be nice with your comments)

He's 3. Scribbling is as close as he can get to colouring. He's COLOURING the eyes.

He thinks the eyes are looking at him, has he got any obsessions?

Are you new to parenting? Clearly, you do not understand how the mind of a 3 year old works. They aren't yet capable of 'coloring' within the lines. It will be messy, jumbled and sometimes look crazy to you because you are expecting a little prodigy to appear magically. Stop being so laser focused on his coloring and worry about other things that are far more important. Scribbling is just that. You are making a mountain out of a molehill.
