How to run a sub 60 400? How to pace/sprint?

15 yo, 5'10". I'm an alright sprinter, runs a 26 200m and I rally want to go sub 60 for my next meet. How do I pace and keep the mental strength to keep going? Should I sprint the whole time and try to keep a constant pace??


Although I'm no sprinter, I see no one has replied to you yet. I'd suggest you speak to your coach (that's what they are there for). Take advantage of the knowledge and experience of your track coach (or coaches) and don't hesitate to ask them about how to get better at your sport. Good luck!
